Is the Brazilian GlossTM treatment a relaxer?
No, this treatment is not a chemical relaxer.

Can it be applied over Japanese straightening or other relaxed hair?
Yes, Brazilian GlossTM can be applied over any type of previously straightened hair.

Will Brazilian GlossTM make my hair straight?
If your hair is wavy, Brazilian GlossTM will make your hair appear naturally straight and healthy. If your hair is very curly, it will minimize frizz while enhancing the appearance of the natural wave or curl.  If you have straight, frizzy hair, Brazilian Gloss will eliminate frizz and promote radiant shine.

Can I perform the Brazilian GlossTM treatment after coloring my hair?
Yes, this treatment should be performed AFTER coloring your hair.

Can I color the hair after my Brazilian GlossTM treatment?
Yes; however, if you wait to color your hair until AFTER you perform the Brazilian GlossTM treatment, always be sure to wait at least 2 to 3 weeks.
 
Can I perform the Brazilian GlossTM treatment on previously chemically treated or highlighted hair?
Yes, Brazilian GlossTM can be applied on any chemically treated or highlighted hair, as long as the scalp and hair are healthy enough to receive professional salon services.

What shampoos should I use after my Brazilian GlossTM treatment?
We recommend our Brazilian GlossTM Daily Glossing Shampoo as it is specifically formulated for use after our treatment.  It is specially made to be sodium chloride and sulfate free.

How long will my Brazilian GlossTM treatment last?
The Brazilian GlossTM treatment will last for 10-12 weeks if our Brazilian Gloss Aftercare product line is used. Brazilian Gloss is a cumulative treatment -- the more you receive it, the healthier your hair will be and the longer the results will last.

Can you apply Brazilian GlossTM directly on top of other relaxers and strengtheners?
Yes. Brazilian GlossTM actually works best on chemically treated hair.  It helps improve the condition of your hair by fortifying each strand with essential proteins and conditioners.

Will my hair lose volume with Brazilian GlossTM?
No, your hair will keep its natural, healthy volume.   

Will my hair return to its original state after the Brazilian GlossTM treatment wears off?
Yes, your hair will revert to its original state once the Brazilian GlossTM treatment has completed its life cycle of 10-12 weeks; however, the condition of your hair will actually improve as a result of the fortifying and conditioning nature of Brazilian GlossTM.

How soon can I wash my hair after I receive my Brazilian GlossTM treatment?
You may wash your hair immediately after your Brazilian GlossTM treatment.  In fact, your stylist or salon will wash and condition your hair before finishing your treatment.  There is no waiting period with Brazilian Gloss.
